A term used is metalworking to alter a piece, typically with bare hands and a measure of brute force to warp / twist / bend / compress or otherwise adjust to the shape desired.
“Did you finish matching the arch on both those fenders?”
“Yeah, the left side just needed one final wonk to sit correctly.”
