Gear Fear

When you have a large sum of gold, particularly in D & D, but are still scared of losing gear.

Players with gear fear may spend a majority of their time scamming other players and "flipping" in the trade channels rather than playing the game.

I have 65k gold, but won't play ranked "high-roller" mode. Would rather kill noobs in normal mode, so my gear will stay safe! Don't you know I have a severe case of gear fear...

I was pedaling up Flowing Springs Rd and kept tapping my shifter for the non existent ghost gears to help with my suffering
