an amazing band that is millions of times better than pearl jam. Kurt Cobain, Krist Noveselic and Dave Ghrol. After Kurt Cobain died on April 5th, 1994 the world came to a great loss, but on the plus side they never made a bad album and never will, becuz they can't..

Nirvana is grunge..for everything else there's mastercard.

Considered by many one of the greatest rock bands of all time. They had raw lyrics and their guitars were never tuned, but thats what made them good. They didnt have to use tons of little machines to play their music. Tragically, the front man of Nirvana killed himself of an overdose of drugs. He was in some ways mentally ill, it wasn't that he couldn't handle fame, it was that he couldn't handle success. If you read his biography it will tell you all about his childhood and how horrible it was.

Nirvana is a grunge band from Seattle in the early 90's.
