Twaddle

V. To make a noise with your mouth by simultaneously humming and vibrating your tongue. (Breathing out, tongue moves up and down very fast, therefore vibrating.) This noise can be higher or lower in pitch, and sometimes sounds like a purr, or growl.

"Did you hear that purring noise?"
"Yeah, I think it was a Twaddle."
