Short for low maitenance; something low mait is easy to take care of and doesn't require constant attention or cause annoyance. If a relationship or a partner is low mait, then they likely have a laid back personality and don't cause much drama.

A girl that is a kind person that does not dress or act like a slut, but hooks up and fucks different guys almost every weekend. When confronted with being a slut, a low key slut will usually say, "It was only that weekend" or "I didn't think anything would happen until it did" or "I wasn't thinking straight that night" or "don't judge me based on one night" or ask why you are so interested in her life.
