What you feel when you watch a documentary about climate change and remember all the crap you just ordered online.

"Wow, this episode of Patriot Act is really disturbing. I had no idea fast fashion was creating so much waste. Hey, are you okay? You look like you're going to throw up."

"Yeah... just thinking about the 10 shirts I don't need that'll be arriving on my doorstep tomorrow and having some serious retail guilt. I'm an asshole."

guilt sticker

A guilt sticker (or usually a packet of them) is included in non-profit promotional mailings designed to make the recipient feel guilty in the event that he/she does not donate. They often have photos of symbols (e.g. kittens) the recipient is likely to identify with, or are printed with the recipients address to serve as return-address labels for letters, or both.

"I put this Sierra Club guilt sticker on my notebook because I thought the wolf was cool. Now every time I see it I feel terrible that I didn't donate."

Face-guilt

When someone you hardly know/don't particularly like sends you a friend request on Facebook/My Space. Even though you don't really want to be friends, you feel obligated to accept the request.

Jen: Hey, I see on your Facebook page that you're friends with Bob now. When did this happen?

Sam: Face-guilt, man! I felt too bad rejecting the request.
