gaining social benefits is acheivable through being seen with cool, popular people. for example, when seen in pictures with them, talking to them or sitting in their group, you are admired. some only associate with the elite clique to obtain social benefits and be recognised as one of them. to some, these benefits are the only real connections between them and their 'friends'.

The guy I bought it from was super creepy, and from Nigeria despite the fact that 100% of the steakhouses I can use the gift card at are in America. Oh well, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt!
