Augustine is the most misunderstood girl in Taylor Swift’s ‘folklore love triangle’. At first she’s seen as this girl who just wants a fling and doesn’t want anything real but deep down she really cared about him and got badly hurt by his actions. She acted like it didn’t bother her because she thought she knew how he felt about her. All she wanted was to feel loved by him but she thought she wasn’t who he wanted. Augustine is actually the sweetest girl and she only wished she had gotten a chance to prove that. She gave everything to him and tried her best regesrdless of what he was putting her through. Augustine was also the definition of summer, energetic and bright and for a lot of people the song was an escape to listen to something relatable to them. ‘August’ was written for the girls who overthink, girls who get misunderstood easily, girls who tried their best for someone who didn’t notice it, girls who are just the second choice, and girls who just wanted to be cared for like she cared for them. If your name is Augustine you’re a very sweet and beautiful person.

Augusta

A city adjacent to the dead ass bottom of the sixth most polluted river in the world. The energy follows the nastiness that the river physically represents. However, the creative energy and pure excellence that this city breeds is nothing short of magical.
