beer tune

A beer tune is a term applicable to ski and snowboard shops, and for the greuling summers, mountain bike shops as well. A beer tune occurs when a consumer exchanges beer or other tangible goods for ski or snowboarding tuning services. see also Weed Tune.

Chinese Tune Up

On older vehicles with carburetors, it was the act of "rev-ing" the engine and jamming your palm over the inlets of the carburetor, thus freeing up any debris from the vacuum it creates.

Before taking it to the mechanic, Bill gave the engine in his car a Chinese Tune up to see if it would remedy the problem.

Poon Tune

Pop, hip-hop, and sometimes rap music that is about a person's unusually strong sex drive. Typically sung by a rich African American who utilizes autotune and excessive bass to forge talent. This music comes in 'generations,' which last about a month and result in 5-6 poon tunes being played constantly on the radio, then are totally forgotten. Also known as "koon tunes."

Colorado Tune up

The act of fixing a car by basically pointing it in a direction and driving it as far as possible in one sitting. This is meant to stretch the legs of the car, and honestly if something is going to break it's going to be during a 500 mile road trip.

My check engine light came on so I decided to give it a Colorado Tune up and drove it 500 miles straight and it went off.

My car was in a bad way so I gave it a Colorado tune up and ended up stranded on the side on I-70.
