A person who does not fit in anywhere, does not enjoy being alone, and is forced to because of it. They tend to be Jacks/Jills-of-all-trades and get bullied a lot. In addition, they tend to be popular because people see things in the lost loner that he/she doesn't.

A person who is well known by many people, and pretty popular. They might have a few friends, but they don’t have any close friends, best friends, or friend group. All their ‘friends’ have their own best friends and friend groups, so the popular loner is usually alone. They usually don’t have anyone to talk to, but sometimes they do. People always assume they have best friends and are in a friend group though, so they want to keep that reputation
