A sexual/romantic/sympathetic attraction to serial killers/murderers,

murderers/criminals/gangsters, etc. dolophonophilia originally came to internet phenomenon on Twitter/X.com which became popular due to what would seem like an obsession with a serial killers name like Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy or Whatever The name of killer your heard of.

For example if a fangirl/stan simps for a serial killer, and posted this on Twitter/X "GUYS insert killer name here IS SO CUTE POLITE AND ADORABLE IM GNA CRY" there was one follower who reposted this to troll her, "Ah no, this girl is obsessed with insert killer name here". But was really, in essence, showing their interest in killers "literally"

the term "dolophonophilia" (from the Greek "dolophonos" meaning "murderer" or "killer" from "philia") others which were more concerned with what serial killers have in common,
