Text-Coma

When a person becomes so utterly absrobed by texting another indiviual on their phone, all bodily functions and contact with the outside world ceases, and thus the body is in a 'coma' state until the text is completed to an adequate level and sent.

Man: Lovely weather we're having.
Woman: 'Silence'
Man: LOVELY WEATHER WE'RE HAVING.
Woman: Sorry? I was in a text-coma lol.

Sending multiple texts which far exceed the 160 character limit of a standard text message that often includes superfluous details; typically involves complex conversations that should take place via email or phone call.

Diane: Did you understand the point I was trying to make in my text?

Chris: You mean your last 16 texts in a row? No, Diane, because I didn't have time to read your text dissertation. Just call me.

Text Rage

when people get angry about a text that was misunderstood. This usually happens when the texter forgets that sarcasm and charming voices do not carry well via text. The textee then feels that anger or ill will has been presented and lashes out against the unsuspecting sender of the original text. Friendships have been severed and spouses have been murdered due to such trivial matters. It's amazing we are all still alive to read this bit of nonsense.

Upon reading and misunderstanding his wife's text, he fell into a fit of text rage, throwing his cell phone across the room and watching it smash into pieces.

Text Attack

Sending one text message as many times as possible in a short period of time to one person causing their phone to freeze up or reboot. Is most effective when five or more people text one persons phone sending them upwards of 100 messages each. Easier to do pre smartphone era but is still possible with the resend feature on most phones being easily accessible.

"I text attacked Jess yesterday to the point where she called me crying saying her phone was broken."
