Usually done to prolong the "getting drunk" process, or to hope noone notices to make you look "cool" because your holding your beer/cup of drink all night.

Colloquial in South India for one who is a compulsive cheater. He has limited endowments and is often so full of himself that he becomes really fat from it. Usually found around ugly girls and tries to get them into bed by telling them he is in a rockband, whereas in reality, he eats a lot and does pot all the time. He looks like a stoned monkey most of the time.
