A set of established protocols governing the responsibilities of a man in an interpersonal relationship with his friends(bros).
If a man's friend(bro) is preparing to hook up with a fat, ugly, or otherwise disfigured girl; it is S.O.B. (Standard Operating Brocedure) to warn him not to. However, if said warning is unheeded, it is also S.O.B. to ridicule and otherwise attempt to humiliate said chubby-chaser by making jokes, coming up with nicknames(see:chubby-chaser), pictures, and any and all other forms of torture.

Get the standard issue mustache mug.The second smartest breed of dog in the world and the second largest variety of poodle (out of teacup, toy, miniature, standard and royal standard).
Usually averages around 60lbs and 15 inches high at the shoulder.
Comes in white, black, brown, red and rarely, piebald.
Classed under Non-Sporting in the AKC.
They were originally bred in Germany and/or France for duck-hunting in cold water, which gave rise to the Continental Cut, more commonly known as the "oh-god-that-dog-looks-ridiculous" cut, used to protect the dogs joints in the cold temperatures, while shaving unnecessary hair to cut down on the weight of the coat. All smaller and larger varieties of poodle came from this size.
They are not prissy whatsoever, in that they love mud, rough-housing, and getting generally filthy, but they do seem to know it when they come home from the groomers looking great. They also have a deep, resonant bark that could fool anyone on the other side of the door that you own a large guard-type dog. They can be protective but are not aggressive unless their owner is in real distress.
They are tolerant of children, other dogs and most other pets, such as cats or hamsters (though my poodle has a real fondness for chasing cattle )
Most love to be showered with attention and fawned over by strangers as much as their owners, as they seem to know that they are truly something special.

Most people- "Wow! Ive never seen a poodle that big before!"
Standard owners- "Its called a "standard" and they are the original size of poodle. They're fantastic dogs!"
Most people- "Awww, she's so pretty! What breed of dog is she?"
Me- "HE is a standard poodle."

Get the Standard poodle mug.A jazz standard refers to some of the most important songs in the repertoire of any jazz musician. Songs become standards when they become popular with both musicians, and also with listeners, as they become more and more familiar.
There is no set list of which songs are standards, and this will change and shift with the musical tastes and perferences of the time. Real books and fake books, along with exam books for jazz music exams will give some idea of which songs are standards.
Many songs were written by jazz composers, but this is not an absolute rule. Similarly, it is common to find several versions of the same song by different artists, with different chord usages. Some tunes come from Broadway and musicals, whilst others come from popular tunes.
It is necessary for a jazz musician to become familiar with many of these standards and so a large part of time spent learning to play jazz will likely be spent in studying these.
