Obsessiveship

When a boyfriend/girlfriend requires that every single moment of their pathetic lives be spent with their emotionally abusive significant other; via telephone, internet, msn, text messaging, webcam, or in person while holding a gun to the other's head threatening to kill them if they even break eyesight.

Obsessive Phone Trading Disorder

AKA PTD To constantly trade, purchase, sell and swap one's phone. PTD sufferers are generally underworked, oversexed and have too much time on their hands. The phones of PTD sufferers are always in perfect pristine condition, as one with PTD will constantly clean and wipe the phone after each use (PTDers may also have Germaphobia). Along with being kept in pristine condition, the phones from the PTDer are left feeling unloved and cheap since the PTDer doesn't have the phone in his possession for more than 4-6 weeks. Intervention is critical for the sake of the phone.

He suffers from obsessive phone trading disorder. He buys a new phone every 4 weeks.

Hobsession

When what starts out as a simple hobby ends up controlling your life and leads to perhaps divorce or severely impaired ability to communicate. For example, Minecraft. Or having a pedigree dog.

Have you been to sleep since you bought grand theft auto? This is becoming an Hobsession.

Obsessive Phone Disorder

AKA OPD

To constantly have one's phone in hand. Whether it is for work, personal organization, entertainment, or research, the phone is always being used.

OPD is most typically seen with excessive iPhone use but can be any device that is used more than 60% of the time.

He suffers from a serious case of Obsessive Phone Disorder. I can only remember one time when he didn't have his phone in his hand.
