A term people use when they want their relationship with their significant other to sound more serious than it actually is. Usually used by insecure or desperate individuals.

I referred to my boyfriend as my future fiance when my landlord asked me who was moving into my place.

Futurenaut

A futurenaut is someone who is given a mission by someone from the future. They have become a staple cliche in many science fictional. The term was coined by Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place in the episode "Future Harper", but has been present in many dramas and comedies long before. This term should not be confused with the person who actually travels back in time to relay such a mission.

Examples of Futurenauts include:
Ebenezer Scrooge in The Christmas Carol

Sarah Connor from The Terminator series.
Goku from the Dragonball Z series.
Bill and Ted in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.
A number of people in the Doctor Who series.

Steven Universe Future Finale

The ending to the epilogue series Steven Universe Future was a very tragic event that hit all the Steven Universe Fandom in the feels and had a very stupid way of being resolved; Steven's corruption was caused by him feeling like a monster yet the way this was resolved by ... a hug. After everything he has been through it can't be solved by a hug, him leaving his home town and becoming independent is key to him growing as a person.

Person A: Wasn't the Steven Universe Future Finale appalling.
Person B: I know, the movie was great then it went so downhill.

jojo's bizarre adventure: heritage for the future

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future (ジョジョの奇妙な冒険 未来への遺産, JoJo no Kimyō na Bōken Mirai e no Isan) is an updated version of the game, released on September 13, 1999, on the CPS-3W arcade system. This version featured eight additional playable characters and adjustments to the game for balancing purposes.

Also known as JJBA HFTF or just HFTF.

Future Leaders of the World (FLOW)is a cool band with a post-grunge sound to their music. the band includes the members Phil (cool vocals-kinda like kurt cobain's but definitely in more tune haha), Jake (wow u should just see him play the guitar he's so into it), Bill (hershdawg-best bass player i've seen & into the music), and Carl (what can i say, definitely no one else who can keep up w/ the beat!) who are really cool and down to earth be sure to check out their music cuz it's the best thing ever!
