VORTEC

A General Motors Engine that creates a miniature Vortex in the Firing cylinder to allow better a fuel/air mixture. VORTEC stands for "VORtex TEChnology" and it delivers more power and better fuel economy (even in Chevy's Monster 8.1 Liter V8), and it is reliable and easy to maintain. found in V6's and V8's. Often misspelled as vortech.

Man 1: Dude, why does your truck get better gas mileage than my Ford?

When you're texting (via your cell phone or an IM program on your computer) and you're being bombarded with legitimate texts from other people (ie you're stuck in multiple conversations, and can't seem to respond to one without at least one or two more sending you messages while you're trying to respond to a first message).

Vertex^2

The badass-est song to date on the popular dancing game In The Groove 2 (ITG2). Currently it is locked and only playable on the course Nightmare. On expert, it is a tough 13 footer. There are hands and "whacked-out" beats throughout the song. Eventually, the song reaches 555bpm with some crazy jump stepping and bullshitting. You'd be lucky to make it through this song alive.

To sum it all up, Vertex^2 will ruin your shit any day of the week.
