This is particularity due to the fact that this coloniser does not come from a people as in classical colonialism but from a European political movement (zionism) that seeks to transform itself into a people.
In classic colonialism the coloniser occupies the land and destroys and abhors the histories of the original peoples. The Palestinian people (jewish Palestinians included) were not only robbed of their land but also their history.
Just as christians and moslems are not a people; jews are not a people.
