crypticism

The art of referring to events or feelings cryptically.

Often practised on sites like LiveJournal, e-where posters attempt to use crypticism to avoid starting drama. Unfortunately, when people try to interpret the crypticism drama often ensues anyway.

The best crypticism is incomprehensible to anyone not already in the know, but makes things quite clear to its intended audience.

It would be easier to keep track of what's going on in Timmy's life if his posts weren't so full of crypticism.

Don't invest in craptocurrency AFTER its increased in value by 40,000%. At this point it's too late; you'll lose your ass AND your retirement fund.
