Root Word Alliteration

The poetic style which repeats a slightly modified root word to emphasize that root word while creating a rhyme.

Examples of "root word alliteration" are, "love—that unexplainably still unexplained phenomenon which in this era of perfection still makes the world go round—appears to take on a life of its own to grow and is irrefutably known to quickly deactivate reason in order to satisfy one or both lover's needs." And "It's better to be safe than sorry," said a tax-collector to a tax-evader who worked as a stocks and bond trader and wrestled against alligators."

When someone puts forth a sentence which follows the rules of alliteration in large abundance, a number of points pertaining to their use of no less than four alliterative words is given.

"We've got a big, brown bag of booze!"

"4 alliteration points for you, buddy!"

algotoxin

Algo-toxin. From algos, pain. The forbidden poison whose sole function is to cause pain and death. Algotoxin has no beneficial properties whatsoever. The pain cannot be alleviated in the least by any known means. Even rendering the victim unconscious does not dull the terrible pain. Victims may tear out their own eyeballs, their veins and nerves, or bite the flesh from the bones of their limbs before finally expiring. The mechanism of death, and the lethal dose, will never be established. The pain is so atrocious, so unremitting, that all victims end their lives with their own hands at the soonest instead of letting the poison run its course.
