Quesadilla explosion, loaded southwest potato chips, Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, chicken and broccoli Alfredo tortelloni, dragon glazed salmon, oriental Caesar salad, fajita egg roll.

White Whale

Term used to describe an opponent/nemesis who is extremely difficult to defeat. The term can also apply to miscellaneous games or events which are difficult to master.

The USC Trojans, although indisputably the most talented team in the PAC 10, always struggle against the undermanned Oregon State Beavers. One can surmise that the Beavers are the Trojans' White Whale.

Isaac has not beaten Jamal in a 1-on-1 basketball game in the last 20 tries. Jamal is his White Whale.

Baron excelled at video games as a child, although he was noticeably deficient at Guitar Hero, struggling to even play Medium Level songs. After many miserable bouts with failure, he conceded that Guitar Hero was his White Whale, the one game which he could not overcome.

White privilege

White privilege, unknown to many, is by no means bashing the white race. It is simply a cultural phenomenon that is characteristic of a society where the white race is seen as normal and everyone else is the exception or different. This societal characteristic creates an environment where whites, compared to everyone else, experiences more cultural affirmations of one's own worth; overall greater social status; and freedom to move, buy, work, play, and speak freely. The effects can be seen in professional, educational, and personal contexts. In other words - The concept of white privilege also implies the right to assume the universality of one's own experiences, marking others as different or exceptional while perceiving oneself as normal.

Examples of White Privilege:
-Rhonda being reprimanded at her office job because she chose to wear her natural hair.
-Arlen having to go to the "African American" section of the hair supply store just to find a hair brush.
-Mark having to wait until Black History Month before anyone mentions the contributions black people have made.
-Nancy turning on the news and hearing the term black on black crime but never white on white crime.
