On Cloud Pi

The latest e-commerce shiny object, where math educators’ memories of Pi Day events are stored in the cloud and can be downloaded for a fee—charges are based on a customer satisfaction index (CSI), which ranks each memory or story in proportion to the degree of pleasure or satisfaction it brings.
With schools unlikely to open for another year, which by then the pandemic is predicted to have subsided, being on cloud pi is the closest experience for math students and teachers to vicariously be on cloud nine on the most important date in the mathematics calendar.

Pi-bond

A dance move which involves pointing your elbows out and rotating your hands around by your chest as if imitating the movement of the bond between 2 p-orbitals as seen in chemistry.
Everyone thought he had lost the dance-off until he pulled out the Pi-bond move.

Pi Chart

An eye chart for math geeks, with the digits of the number π and some math symbols on display rather than showing any of the 26 letters of the English alphabet and the ten numerals.
Doctors at some elite colleges are giving students who come for their medical check-up the option to choose between a pi chart and the eye chart that is commonly used in spectacles shops and hospitals.

Pi Chart

A bar chart whose adjacent vertical bars have heights proportionately based on the digits of the decimal number π—from a distance, the statistical diagram looks like a city skyline.
On a graph paper, what is the most number of bars you can draw for a pi chart?

Twitter Pi

Composing a short story (factoid, haiku, joke, …), or posing a math problem, using 140 (or 280) characters or less on or about the number π.
Three examples of Twitter Pi are:

a) A haiku entitled “Pi in the Sky” goes like this:
Pi is three only.
For the Bible tells me so!
I shalt not doubt it.

b) Trump promised MAGA evangelicals in red-pilled states: “If re-elected, I’d decree π to be 3 for all true-blue patriots.”

c) A math toughie: If 1! = 1 and 2! = 2, show that (1/2)! = 1/2 √π and (–1/2)! = √π.

Urban Pi

Irreverent or politically incorrect math definitions on and about the number π, most of which stand zero chance of ever being published in a school textbook, because they are deemed inappropriate or unsuitable to the immature or puritan mind, or to those with a poor sense of humor.
How could pi enthusiasts be deprived of a lexicon of urban pi terms or phrases just because some of them are allegedly blasphemous or irreligious or preposterous?

Pi Second

The fifty-third second of 9:26 a.m. of March 14, 2015. So called because 3.141592653 is pi down to nine decimal places, and Pi Second is 3/14/15 9:26:53.
On Pi Second, we will play the sound of a bell ringing for all the world to hear! Pi Second is only one second out of every 100 years, so it only happens every three billion or so seconds. Enjoy the second while you can!
