gringo

An offensive, derogatory term used to single out whites. Most of the time American but can be European. Rarely, if it all, is the term used to refer to a black person (who are normally called morenos), American Indian, Japanese, or any other racial/ethnic group.

It evolved from "Green, Go" to refer to the US soldiers wearing Green Coats during the Mexican-American War. Hispanics of Mexico (who are really just mestizos - Half Spanish/Half Amerindian - or confused American Indians) will try to justify using the term at all costs as it has not only a comedic effect but has become very much ingrained in their culture.
Mira a esa tipo, esa gringo. He thinks he's going to send us back to Mexico eh? F%ck Trump. F%ck White America.

gringo

For as long as I can remember the word gringo has been a derogatory slang word for Americans in Spanish / Portuguese speaking countries. Quote from Wikepedia " Various dictionaries classify gringo as "offensive slang," "usually disparaging," and "often disparaging."
While many say that Gringo is non-derogatory I believe it is and the reasoning for not calling Americans as such is that America is a continent? It is also a country. I would not call a Brazilian an American, as he would be called after his country. We Americans would also like to be called after our country!

Pinche gringo cara de mierda

Mexican expression used to humorously address an anglo person. Roughly translated, it means "silly red-faced gringo". Its not really rude, but kind of playful and endearing, so you can use it freely in polite company, like for example when you´re playing golf with your American business partners.

Grainger's Law

Any partisan discussion involving Hillary Clinton will eventually include discredited claims related to Benghazi despite 8 Republican House Congressional investigations that found zero wrongdoing.
Jane Doe you voted for her. We all know you were easily able to dismiss her lies, deceptiveness, and incompetence of Benghazi where several Americans were killed.

John Doe can't we have one conversation where you do not evoke Grainger's Law to circumvent the topic at hand?!?
