Coldplay

A British alternative rock band that became famous in the early 2000s, and have since written several major hits. Most notably Fix You, Clocks, Paradise and Yellow. They still release new music as of 2022 and have collaborated with The Chainsmokers, Rihanna, and most recently BTS. The lyrics of Coldplay's songs often have very personal meaning to the artists, often talking about relationships, emotion and the beauty of the world.

To have your affair outed by your own careless actions, such as being caught in a public setting with your side piece. Followed by social media chewing you up, spitting you out, scraping you off the sidewalk, and being thrown in the trash.

I got coldplayed when I was seen with my ho on a jumbotron. I went from being an unknown to an internet meme in 2.4 minutes.
