glamour scene

Glamour Scene- A very small portion of the infamous "scene" where the boys and girls both like to dress themselves up in very bold and sometimes provocative ways. Their attire usually consists of short skirts, large jewelry, flowers, beaded necklaces, bandanas, and other shit in their hair, large sunglasses, usually boldly colored, vintage clothing, brightly colored clothing, and an obsession with ritzy brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Dior, etc. Basically, they are the rich scene kids who can afford to blow their money on hair styling products and top-of-the-line clothing and sunglasses.

Scenecore

A collaboration of several current genres including post-hardcore, metalcore, "crunkcore" and several other various '-cores'.

The musicians consist of underage scene kids & preppy kids alike that 'play' the guitar and write songs filled relentlessly with alternate picking, fry screams, breakdowns, and double bass pedals.

The fans describe their music as "br00tal" and "dope"; often claim that their music is "emo", "screamo", "hardcore" and other '80s genres that died out before the turn of the century and are constantly ruining much liked genres. Some of the more recent genres to have fallen with in Scenecore's grasp are death and doom metal.
Scenecore bands must have:
-A screamer
-As many guitarists as they wish (they must play the same thing)
-A drummer with a double bass pedal, a snare, and a crash.
-A bassist that immitates the rythm guitar's power chords progressions constantly
-A male singer with a high & whiney voice
-Breakdowns
Optional:
-Keyboardists that play 4-7 notes on a synth setting
-Techno bridges
-Eyeliner

scene

i would like to mention that typically whenever a scene kid sees another scene kid- they have to mention how much they hate scene kids, although they're really just pissed because they're both wearing the same belt.
scene boy "that girl over there thinks she's hard-core, but she's really just scene, ewe."
not scene kid "hey. that girl looks exactly like you. i think you're even wearing the same pants."

scene diamond necklace

A scene trend. It is a necklace with a large crude, cartoon-like diamond sketch dangling from it (aka a scene diamond). They come in a variety of colors and sizes. Kiki Kannibal sells them in Kiki Kouture, but they can also be bought elsewhere. You can even make them yourself. There are many YouTube videos that instruct one on how to make their own scene diamond necklace.
Scene kid: I spent, like, a TON of money on this scene diamond necklace.

Scene kid 2: Really? I just spent like fifteen dollars.

Scene kid: O-em-gee really? I got mine from Kiki Kouture.

Scene kid 2: Oh, I got it from this other place online.

Scene kid: I didn't know there were other places...

Scene kid 3: Heyy, guys! Like my scene diamond necklace?

Scene kid 1/2: Wow! That's mad pretty! How much? And where did you get it from?

Scene kid 3: o_o I made it myself. I even made a video on YouTube showing how to.

Scene kid 1/2: WOW THAT'S SO RAD!!!!1

scenespace

See: Myspace

A negative word used to describe the popular social-networking site, Myspace.

Originated from the large amounts of scene kids on myspace, and created by those who frown upon the site's recent popularity with the followers of the scene trend.

Myspace is well known for the birth of many scene trends. One being the use of two word names, commonly formed by the person's actual name and a random/morbid adjective or noun. ex. Anna Aesthetic, Sally Suicide, Megan Morphine, etc.

Another trend popularized by the site includes the worshiping of random models and singers such as (but not limited to) Jeffree Star, HannaBeth, Jac Vanek, Airica Macabre, Kiki Kannibal, Koti Rose, and many, many others. Girls who look up to these myspace celebrities as inspirations for their own looks usually end up being labeled as "fakes" by the celebrities themselves.

Myspace has made it easier for thousands of scene kids to spread trends like wildfire, steal people's looks and ideas, and is now used as the central hub for the exchange of scene information.
