pedophile mile

any town or area with a larger than normal population of pedophiles. in other words "creep central" or "where uncle mark touched me". There are a few defining characteristics of a pedophile mile that distinguishes it from other suburban areas.
1. an excess of white vans and / or ice cream trucks parked in nearly every driveway.
2. an abnormal amount of shady characters, specifically ones over 40, possibly with small children.
3. if you walk down the street and a random man with a lisp asked to see your no-no area, you are probably in the pedophile mile.
4. last but not least if you see john mccain on any of the porches, RUN. this is most definitely a pedophile mile.

tim: "dude you took the long way home? arent there a shitload of creepy old people?"

john: "fer sure man, its the pedophile mile down there. im lucky to have made it out with my anus intact."

pedophilia

The act of having feelings and/or contact between children and adults. An awful practice. BTW, Homosexuality is a lifestyle, a choice made between two consenting adults. Pedophilia is scarring a child for life, not 'liberating them emotionally'. Tricking a child and then having conctact is just plain wrong.

Pedophilia is an awful choice. Pedophiles are sick, tormented human beings.

pedophobia

An irrational, often hysterical fear that afflicts many parents. It involves the delusion that perverts wearing trenchcoats are lurking behind every bush with pockets full of candy. Parents with this disorder have an obsessive compulsion to keep their children, even teenagers, under constant surveillance. They egotistically assume that a pervert would WANT their children, even though they tend to be just as dull and unattractive as the parents that spawned them. These parents tend to be highly suggestible, and a large majority watch FOX News regularly. Other symptoms include frequent bouts of paranoia and melodramatic behavior. Sadly, most will not be cured before they have passed the disease on to their children.

The media's sensationalized coverage of child abductions is mostly to blame for the current climate of pedophobia in our society.

It seems most of the definitions on here are accurate, but just to clear some things up:

A "pedophile", according to the American Psychological Association and by it's very definition is: Someone, who for a period of 6 months or more, has arousing fantasies, urges, or feelings towards prepubescent children. The APA states that the person must be at least 16 or older, however there have been cases where younger teens have been diagnosed with "warning signs" that may indicate an unnatural sexual attraction.

Which means is that:
1) The sexual attraction towards young teens (13-17 yr olds) is in a completely different category known as ephebophilia. (The age of consent does not apply because it includes pubescent teens)

2) The words pedophile and child molester are not synonymous in that "pedophilia" describes the sexual attraction whereas "child molester" describes the sexual abuse. Furthermore, studies show that many child molesters aren't even attracted to children, which is why molestation is considered more of a power crime rather than a sex crime. In other words, many pedophiles do not abuse children, and many child molesters have no sexual interest in children - which is why they are two separate words.
(A molested child is not a victim of "pedophilia", he/she is a victim of "child molestation" - even if pedophilic urges led to the act.)

1) Bill just admitted to me today that he's a pedophile. I can't believe he's attracted to children, I hope he seeks help.

Pedophile: Game

A twisted version of hide and go seek where the hiders are children and the seeker(s) are pedophiles. Same rules as hide and go seek but once a hider is found/caught they are raped by the pedophile. Best if played at night and on school grounds (depending on the size of the playing area extra pedophiles may be needed) to add to the intensity that school children are running from a crazy pedophile. Some acting is required to get the best experience by both the pedophile and children: Player as the pedophile should make creepy grunts and scary laughs to scare the children, and children should scream and cry if caught and raped.
