Phonsty

Phonsty (adjective) is a combination of the two words “phone” and “thirsty”. Someone becomes phonsty when they spend a large amount of time without using their smart phone, typically hours. They become thirsty for smart content that they can access with their phones such as messages, YouTube/Tiktok videos, photos on Instagram etc.

Have you seen my phone? I was out for a run and now I am phonsty.

Frank: "Hey John, did you hear?"
John: "Yeah, Eric got almost got arrested for trespassing last night for being in the Divine Loraine(abandoned building in northern philly) ."
