the gonzo effect

A state of mind induced by psychedelic and deleriant drugs that is characterized by a total lack of logic and reason, difficulty or inability to communicate with others, and the complete loss of one's sense of reality. Other symptoms may include:
-gibberish or non-linear speech
-dizziness, disorientation
-racing and/or delusional thought
-visual and auditory delerium (seeing/hearing things that aren't there)
-throwing chairs and other large objects
-rolling around on the floor yelling about reptiles
-attempting suicide at the end of Jefferson Airplane songs
The term gonzo come from the works of a writer Hunter S. Thompson, who became famous for taking excessive amounts of drugs at some of the most important historical events of the twentieth century, and still having time to write up the newspaper report. He called this gonzo journalism, which is what the gonzo effect is derived from.

When a hard working immigrant, Chaldean in particular, comes to the United States, makes money, and then proceeds to spoil their kids, creating the biggest douche-bag possible that personifies every negative aspect of American lifestyle, with an emphasis on greed and being flashy.

The DDR Effect adj.: a member of the male gender doing something thought to be totally 'uncool' in absolutely no attempt to get female attention, but yet attracting the eyes of every female in the room. Doing something your 'mates' would laugh and mock you for, but the female gender find quite 'adorable' or 'sweet' and therefore think of you as a sensitive guy and potential suitor.

those kids that are like massively awesome at ddr are the main inspiration for the ddr effect or guys that take their little siblings to a movie to get them out of their parent's hair for a while potray aspects of the ddr effect LOL. guys should totally try this. it's a total chick magnet :P
