trauma shaming

When someone who has been affected mentally or psychologically by a trauma, or even a bad upbringing, is criticized for the behavior they display as a result of the trauma, with those criticizing seemingly forgetting, or not knowing the reason behind this behavior. Some may continue to criticize the person with the trauma even when explained the reason, claiming that the trauma doesn't "justify" their behavior. In the case of fictional characters, expect one to call a trauma-stricken character "annoying" for lashing out.

Commenter: "Ugh, just watching Degrassi Junior High right now and Spike is so rude towards Shane! Like why is she like that towards that poor boy?"
Another commenter: "Dude, she literally has an absent father and she got pregnant at 14. Stop trauma shaming.".

taumate

Taumate is a person who cares more about other people’s feelings than hers. She often puts them first before herself. However sometimes, she overreacts and turns her anger against everyone she loves and everything she loves doing without intention, but she still tries her best to avoid hurting the people she loves and think that having that weakness is no excuse to hurting them. She is more selfless and a little selfish when she knows it’s appropriate. She is talented and smart, even the things she has failed to do many times, she tries to gain the passion to do so until she succeeds. She doesn’t express her feelings directly through words, if she does, she doesn’t get satisfied with her explanation. Instead, she finds a different way that is more simple and interesting like music. She is a little arrogant at times, meanwhile she loves whoever she chooses to love with all honesty and loyalty even if he does not give the same effort as she gives. Even her friends gets annoyed by how she doesn’t give up on love that seems to be toxic for her. She’s not perfect, sometimes she feels not pretty, but she’s a fighter, she’s a star, she’s a total package anyone would wish to have once they get to know her.

She is Taumate, a fighter, a talented and smart person.

The height of the hill is 305 metres (1,001 ft). The hill is notable primarily for its unusually long name, which is of Māori origin; it is often shortened to Taumata for brevity.2 It has gained a measure of fame as it is the longest place name found in any English-speaking country, and possibly the longest place name in the world, according to World Atlas.3 The name of the hill (with 85 characters) has also been listed in the Guinness World Records as the longest place name. Other versions of the name, including longer ones, are also sometimes used.

Similar to guilt-tripping, this is when someone brings up traumatic experiences that aren't relevant to the conversation at all, and is only brought up so that they can make a person feel bad. Usually, this is done in response to being called out for something
