almost every1 who has written a definition on this website for "poser Punk." they are saying that being punk has no fashion code and you arent defined by the music you listin to. yet they call people posers for shopping at hot topic and listining to SP and GC. i personally dont like those bands but that dusnt mean that someone who does is a poser. every1 says that being punk is about being your self and not caring about what others think of them. how do you know that people who like those stores and bands arent being them selves? your creating a stereo type and a fashion code just by posting those definitions. and you are doing EXACTLY what you say punks dont do. stop being so judgemental. music and clothes dont define a person. only their personality does.

poser punks are judgemental on other peoples clothing, music style, and other stupid things like that. honestly, who cares what a person wears or listins to.

first poster

A person whose main goal in life is to post first on an internet video, picture, or anything else that allows comments. Usually this person will simply post "First!" or something along those lines rather than making an insightful or meaningful comment. First posters, while they themselves often believe that they are serving a valuable purpose and/or accomplishing something by being first, are generally disrespected by much of the rest of the online community.

First poster #1: "I was the first to post on a Failblog picture on March 17, 2008. It ended up getting 946 comments."
Neil Armstrong: "Wow, that's really impressive. I was the first person to walk on the moon."
Babe Ruth: "I was the first player to hit 60 home runs in a season AND the first to hit 700 career home runs!"
Albert Einstein: "Well I was the first to prove the relationship between mass and energy as well as many other fundamental principles of the universe that had puzzled scientists since the beginning of time."
Sir Edmund Hillary: "I was the first to climb Mt. Everest."
First poster #1: "What did you do up there?"
Sir Edmund Hillary: "I put up a sign that said 'First!!!' and got my ass back down that mountain. It was freezing up there, dude!"

A word popularized by the teenagers of this generation. It is used to describe someone who is "biting off" another person, and one who tries to fit in with a group. Honestly, no one even gives a shit about who are "posers" and who aren't. In today's logic, any newcomer is a poser, or anyone who decides to wear something else or listen to something else is a poser. The word is used to bash those who try new things regardless of reason for doing so, and it's one of the most overused words by teenagers. It is mostly used by people who have no self-esteem and resort to talking down to other people or friends to satisfy themselves. Seriously people, fuck off already.

Guy #1: Dude, stop wearing LRG, you're such a fucking poser!
Guy #2: Whateva, I do what I want!
