The term 'xenogender' was coined on tumblr, and evolved from a joke attempting to mock the trans community, into a community of teens creating "genders" and fitting pronouns out of interests, characteristics or likes and dislikes.
This is extremely hurtful to the trans community, as it can lead to the trans community being taken less seriously and therefore trans healthcare being harder to access for trans individuals.

Hello, my name is Chaos, I am the founder of an anti-MAP and anti-zoo organization. I am here to clear up one small thing on Xenogenders as a Xeno user.
Regardless on what one user in particular said, Xenos are not used as MAP, Zoo, or Groomer dogwistles.
Xenogenders are genders created by Autistic Trans people (like myself) that represent how their gender feels to them, as many Autistic people do not feel gender the same way Allistic people do.
For example:
Catgender does not mean you identify as a cat; rather, your gender itself feels small, mysterious, fluffy, and sharp on occasion. Meowbahh is actually a young animator that had a platform of around 1K people before dropping off around 2015, meow doesn’t actually identify as Catgender but meow is a more mainstream example of the misuse of xenogenders.
