Stravaing

To use Strava in order to measure something in order to:

1) Capture data in an effort to feed your analytics addiction
2) Impress/shame other athletes based on on you data
3) Feed your ego (typically has the reverse effect due to your ride data)
4) All of the above

- It was too cold outside to ride my bike, but since I'm addicted to data collection and analytics, I considered Stravaing my indoor ride to ensure I had a complete training record.

- A high profile cyclist had recently started following me on Strava, so I felt compelled to start Stravaing my indoor rides to prove I am a worthy cyclist.

- Due to the "ride data or it didn't happen" principle, Stravaing your indoor rides is mandatory.

Strafing

The word Strafe or Strafing as some people call it, is when a player is dodging some sort of attack in a video game by going side-to-side.

Watch out, that player is strafing.

Don't peak, that player is strafing at the end of the hall.

After she wakes up, Bree routinely spends 3-5 minutes each morning strawning prior to starting her other daily activities.

Strapping Young Lad

An awesome Canadian heavy metal band led by vocalist and head musician Devin Townsend, which consists of very heavy guitar riffage, intense drumming, and spectacularly angry lyrics shouted by Devin himself. Their album "City" which was released in 1997, is their most famous work and really something to listen to whenever you're pissed off and want to rebel against society's moral boundaries.

Forget Korn and Slipknot. All you "nu-metal" kids should listen to SYL's "City" album to know how REAL pissed-off metal should sound like!
