The Stooges

Not to be confused with the Three Stooges, The Stooges were a truly groundbreaking band and the godfathers of punk. They helped give rise to Iggy Pop, a legend of punk and one of the greatest frontmen around. Mick Jagger and Alice Cooper both take pages out of Iggy's book. Their influence can be best seen in bands like the MC5, the Ramones, The Damned, and most recently Velvet Revolver.

Stoogie

Slang from the North East of Scotland used to mainly describe a great golf shot.

Can also be used to describe anything that is impressive.

Upon hitting a great drive, approach shot, chip, etc - "What a stoogie!" or "That's a stoogie" or simply "Stoogie!".

When on a run of great golf shots, "Stoogiemania"

Historically a vaudeville comedy team who worked from 1922 to 1970, consisting of Larry, Moe and Curly, but now more popularly known to consist of the 45th POTUS, Attorney General William Barr and Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo.

A term used to describe a person, male or female, of black decent. It can be used either in a derogatory or descriptive manner.

Person 1: "Yo, I heard there was a robbery at the liqour store last night."

Person 2: "Ya man. Some swoogie ran up in there and robbed the place. Surprised no one got shot."

Person 1: "Freakin swoogies."
