Putting space between yourself and others on FB that knowingly or unknowingly spread bad or dangerous information with their posts, or that proudly encourage wreckless behavior that can harm you or your family. Does not usually apply to when they're only hurting themselves (see: Natural Selection). Usually performed in a series of escalations starting with the 30-day penalty box unfollowing, then permanent unfollowing, unfriending, or outright blocking. Is known to be associates with a refreshing, disinfecting feeling.

Bob won't shut up about the anti stay-at-home rally with this virus and keeps posting about how masks are the gubmint trying to control us, so im Socialmedia Distancing him for a month.
