Equestrian

A badass person who works very hard with horses and at the sport of riding horses. An equestrian is usually a very hardworking person who is completely commited to the sport of riding and the animals(horses/ponies) that he or she rides. Often stereotyped as being snobby and rich the equestrian is usually overlooked as a person who partakes in sports/ physical activity. Equestrians need to have the concentration and ability to judge distance like a golfer, strength and stamina of a hockey player, artistic flow and ability to make a hard thing look easy and beauiful like a gymnast, and and also know where everyone around them is at all times ALL WHILE controlling a 1000lb or more animal with your hands, back, neck, shoulders, thighs, calves, legs, heels, stomach, or basically every bone/muscle in your body with the help of a 5 inch piece of metal.

Rachet ass hoe that equestrian don't fuck around- mess with her horse and she'll burn your house down.

equestrian vaulting

an amazingly insane sport where people stand and do other crazy stuff on horses cantering in circles...
really good vaulters can do stuff like cartwheels and backflips and handstands
vaulting has yet to be added to the list of olympic sports because vaulters don't wear helmets, and that doesnt sit well with the international olympic committee

1st person: I'm a vaulter.
2nd person: you pole vault? wow
1st person: no, I do equestrian vaulting... I do gymnastics and dance on a horse...
2nd person: wwwwwoooooowwwwww........

A rich man's sport. An Olympic sport. One of the most dangerous sports. A horseback rider. Stereotyped as being very rich,and blue ribbon snobs (in some cases it's true). Usually you see them hang out at the barn alot because owning a horse or horses is commitment. There's two types of riding styles of equestrian. English riding: the blazer, breeches, tall boots, the velvet hard helmet, does the foxhunting, jumping, dressage, eventing, ect. Western riding: The cowboys, rodeos, barrel racing, ect.

The United States Equestrian Team took the gold medal at the previous Olympics in Atlanta.
