prixdiculous

A mash-up of 2 french words : PRICE + RIDICULOUS. In french, we do not pronunce the X letter so it all sounds like 1 normal word (prEEdiculous) which clearly means that the price of an item is either way to high (most likely too high) or way too low for what it is truly worth. Nowadays, with the ramping inflation, the price asked for what is being offered is overly prixdiculous !

$8.99 for a liter of non-organic oat milk ? that’s prixdiculous !

8.99$ pour 1 litre de lait d’avoine pas biologique ? Cest vraiment Prixdicule !
