The prophesied location of a gathering of armies for a battle during the end times. Generally used to describe any end-of-world scenario, typically involving those who perform their duties, and those who do not, and as such do not tolerate the dead weight and wish to smite them.

When termite nests fall out of trees due to heavy rain. They fly out in the millions and seek any single light that may be on in your residence. The end result is a layer of wings all over your home with a nearly impossible clean up.

Dude! I went out last night and left my lights on in the house. I came home to Termageddon.

Pharmageddon

Massive loss and suffering, resulting from potential failure to develop a vaccine against Covid-19.

As the hopes of the world were focused on Big Pharma, the dates kept getting pushed back - probably October, maybe by the end of the year, sometime in 2022, well, the virus keeps mutating, so... - the number of infections and deaths mounted, and it came to be seen as Pharmageddon.
