slash parasocial

This is how dangerous parasocial relationships can form. Dream doesn't love you. He can't love you. Dream doesn't KNOW you. He can appreciate you but he can't fucking love you.

posashock

Runglish veil word for never ending drink time. The person who said it means that 'just one more but last time lets drink and that's all, everybody go home", but in fact 'posashock' will be repeated for many times.

Posashock always appears when somebody says 'ok, it's too late i have go home'
- OMG,its too late, i have to go...tommorow i have to be cheerful, coz the day next is very busy and important
-Ok, Brandon,OKAAAY....but befor you go lets drink for posashock?
-Ok, just only for posashock...
1 hour later:
- Oh, i go home, i'm sick of drinking....i would be dead tommorow...mama mia
-Ok, Brandon, i agree: u have go home...before you go let's drink last time for posashock..
-Ok, only for posashock....
1 hour later....the same))

parasociopath

A Parasociopath uses parasocial relationships to enable, justify, and lie about sociopathic behavior. Parasocial influence allows parasociopathic online "influencers" to manipulate, lie, break laws, act impulsively, and lack regard for their own safety or the safety of others in order to entertain, gaslight, harrass, and cyberbully others leveraging their "followers' affection" to deflect criticism and legitimize their behaviors.

Parasocial interaction is an exposure that garners interest in a persona and then becomes a parasocial relationship after repeated exposure to the media persona causes the media user to develop illusions of intimacy, friendship, and identification. Media personas have a significant amount of influence over media users informing the way that they perceive life, their behaviors, and their purchasing habits. (Horton, D.; Wohl, R. (1956). "Mass communication and para-social interaction: Observation on intimacy at a distance". Psychiatry. 19 (3): 215–229.)

Sociopathy is antisocial personality disorder, which causes individuals to lie, break laws, act impulsively, and lack regard for their own safety or the safety of others. (Healthline. (2021). "Sociopath". Healthline.com.)

Parasocial Stockholm Syndrome

When someone is in a parasocial/one-sided relationship with a famous person (typically a celebrity or online personality).. and this famous person happens to exhibit toxic, abusive, or inappropriate behavior. The fan ignores their distasteful behavior and continues to support them.

Alternatively, maybe the fan is aware of what they're doing.. but they feel stuck in this one-sided relationship and it's hard for them to escape because of how attached they are.
I'm really into this guy.. but he also creeps me out sometimes. I feel like.. if I ever found out that he's actually a bad person that has done bad things, it would be really hard for me to detach myself from him.

The weirdest part? I don't even know him personally! He's a YouTuber. So why do I feel this way? It's like some form of.. parasocial stockholm syndrome that I'm experiencing or something. That's the only way I can describe it.
