Freedom from unpleasant consequences: Exemption from punishment, harm, or recrimination.

When you have impunity, you could have done anything you would have wanted. There are no consequences.

Democratic Immunity

Similar to Diplomatic Immunity, a secret clause in US legal code that prohibits the prosecution of Democratic Party members, family or associates for corruption or felonies. It is rigidly enforced by the DOJ and FBI.

Hillary Clinton, Lois Lerner and the Mueller Special Counsel investigation destroyed or caused to be destroyed evidence under subpoena but were not prosecuted because they were protected by Democratic Immunity.

Our son just got his driver's license and promptly caused an accident in a roundabout. I'd punish him, but I guess he has pimplomatic immunity.

For the full 24 hours of your birthday, you don't have to do any chores around the house or homework. You can also say and do whatever you want without getting into any trouble, as stated by the definition above.

Since today is my birthday, I'm not doing any of my homework and my family has to do my chores for me because I have Birthday Immunity.
