Handmaid Club

When you realize that the female friend group exists only to support the emotional and professional life of one of the members, to the exclusion of all others. Usually there is a head supplicant who bullies the rest of the members into worshipping the object of the adoration.

‘Oh you look just amazing, Kathie! Not fat at all.’ Or-‘Kathie can’t make the trip so we need to pay her back the amount she put down on the deposit.’ Or- ‘I can't believe you didn’t follow Kathie’s insta page; she really needs the traffic!’ —‘Sorry, I didn’t sign up to be in the Handmaid Club.’
