A street in San Francisco that actually isn't as infested with drugs as people like to say it is. Especially compared to the rest of The City.

person 1: hey, are you gonna go to haight today.
person 2: yeah, i need to get some shopping done.
tourist friend: Aren't there like....a bunch of drugs there.
person 1: there's only drugs if you're looking for 'em buddy.

Female version of a Gekko: someone who is superficially attractive even charming but ruthless in using and abusing other people for personal ends, especially greed and success.

The glass ceiling will have gone when a Haigh successfully screws a Gekko.

lower haighter

residents or individuals hailing from the Lower-Haight subdistrict of San Francisco. This is the portion of Haight St. beginning with the intersection of Divisadero St. all the way until Haight Street intersects with Market street. The title is a point of pride for members of the dynamic, hip urban-esque subdistrict as it separates (us) from petchouli oil soaked middle-class runaways from the midwest who tend to flock to and occupy the upper Haight-Ashbury sub-district located between Golden Gate and Buena Vista Parks.

I live above Molotov's. I'm a 'lower haighter'.
