I am convinced that the only other definition on this page was written by the devil himself (Alex Greenwald) because there is no way that anyone could think he is that cool. Now, here is the TRUE definition of Mr. Greenwald!

Alex Greenwald (Gaywald for short) is a indie rock faggot that would do literally anything to be in the spotlight including sucking off a giraffe at a PETA rally to butt fucking Sting for his shitty band to get an opening slot on his tour.

Gaywald's hobbies include trying to be popular, copying whatever music is popular at the time, dating actresses who are more famous than him (then dumping them for the next barely-legal pussy that goes by). His theme song is "Little Girls" by Oingo Boingo.

George: "Yo, homie! Have you heard about that fuckass Alex Greenwald?"

Greenwald Projection Principle

Corollary of Godwin's Law; applies when, during the course of a disagreement, an individual or group is wrongfully accused of homophobia, toxic behavior, and/or anti-semitism by "journalist" Glenn Greenwald*; usually employed as an attempt to distract from any unpleasant but completely factual statements made by the accused referencing Greenwald. In all cases, Glenn's exercise of the principle means he has conceded the argument to the accused, since he is simply projecting his own flaws on to his interlocutor.

*While the GPP is primarily a personal tool of Greenwald's, it may be used by his supporters and/or sock puppet social media accounts. Women, especially BIPOC women, are the most frequent target.

Does not apply if the accusation is accurate. The GPP does not provide cover for bigots.

I simply pointed out how often he appears on Tucker Carlson's show, and Glenn immediately hit me with the Greenwald Projection Principle; I won the argument two sentences into it!
