When someone posts something on Facebook meant for another person but then a third party views, comments, and/or reposts it.

Similar to eavesdropping, but on Facebook.

Matt sent Cord a video. Dylan commented on it. That's Face-dropping.

Face Dropper

One who constantly posts photos of themself with celebrities, politicians, executives, or popular individuals on social media outlets in an attempt to seem cooler or more elite than average. "Face Dropping" is the equivalent of "Name Dropping" in picture form.

John: I thought Danielle was so down to earth, then I realized she was a total face dropper. She is constantly posting pictures of herself with popular people and celebrities.
