The Zune to its Ipod

An imitation of something already existing, but is in a lesser form and obviously copying the already existent thing. Can be used for people or things. Used when comparing 2 things Zune to Ipod because the Zune is a mp3 player from microsoft that is obviously trying to be apple's ipod which is already very popular and successful.

Bob has a catch phrase that is "hey whats a happenin in a here." Andy then tried to have a catch phrase that said "hey everybody, how ya doin?" You could say that Andy's catch phrase is the zune to its ipod (its meaning bob's)

Zune HD

3rd generation Zune device by Microsoft. Release on September 8th, 2009.

The device has a large OLED touchscreen. It also has features like WiFi and HD radio. It is mainly meant to compete against the iPod touch and other touchscreen media players.

Jeff: Yo gabe, what kind of iPod is that plugged into your stereo?
Gabe: Chill, this is a Zune HD. It kicks the iPod's scratched-up ass.

A condition that affects Zune users when their devices won't work properly or they cannot use the Zune service to download songs. Diagnosed by a whiny message or hollow threat on the Zune message board.

Zune hysteria mostly appears on the Zune Boards :
"Dudes, I can't download any music right now from the Zune website! I want a refund of points or I'm going to go buy an Ipod!!"
