A disposable unit used in an attack. Originally the smallest combat unit of the race The Zerg in the computer game Starcaft it is now used to describe any such insignificant unit, especially ones sent in large numbers.

There are like 50 3rd level characters trying to kill that level 15 mob. Go my little zerglings, go!

Zergling pwned

The act of your base and troops being utterly demolished in the popular game Starcraft by a huge number of Zerglings.

I can't believe it. I had Firebats, Siege Tanks, Marines, Goliaths, everything, but that Zerg Rush obliterated me. there were just too many. I got Zergling pwned.
