tahora

Without a doubt she is the most

beautiful woman you will ever know. Your heart sighs and sings every time you see and think about her. She is the most beautiful woman on this earth today or any other time.

She is the definition of beauty

in everyone's eyes and mind.

Her shining eyes and beaming smile, long flowing hair and a gorgeous body. Topped off with the most important thing

a beautiful heart and soul with an intelligent mind.
When looking at anything that is too amazing for words like a priceless piece of art or the most beautiful landscape you have ever seen you would say, "Oh my goodness that is the most Tahora thing I have ever seen!!"

Tamora Pierce

An author of fantasy novels for teenagers. Her works include "The Song of the Lioness" quartet (Alanna: The First Adventure, In the Hand of the Goddess, The Woman who Rides Like A Man, Lioness Rampant), "The Immortals" quartet (Wild Magic, Wolf Speaker, Emperor Mage, The Realms of the Gods), and the "Protector of the Small" quartet (First Test, Page, Squire, Lady Knight). These three quartets are set in the imaginary midieval realm of Tortall.

Adding on to those sets in the Tortallan series are the two books of the "Daughter of the Lioness" (Trickster's Choice, Trickster's Queen) and the newest installment, "Beka Cooper" (Terrier). As of yet, Terrier is the only book in this series out.

Pierce also has books not set in Tortall out, like the "Circle of Magic" quartet (Sandry's Book, Tris's Book, Daja's Book, Briar's Book) and follows up on those with "The Circle Opens" (Magic Steps, Cold Fire, Street Magic, Shatterglass (I may have messed up the order there.)) Adding to that is "The Will of the Empress", which I'm not entirely sure belongs to a quartet, but follows "The Circle Opens".

Pierce edited an anthology called "Young Warriors".

In my opinion. Tamora Pierce is one of the most exceptional teen-fantasy novelists out there. Her work is filled with swords, sorcery, talking animals, animals that don't talk but probably should, humor, violence, and assholes you'd love to choke (and usually eventually die anyway, which makes it so much more satisfying).

Ms. Pierce got me into being an avid reader at a young age (and I'm only fifteen now). Therefore, if you want to get your child into reading, I suggest you get them a book by Tamora Pierce. Or read them yourself---they're all good. Her work is much better than that "Eragon" lord-of-the-rings-ripoff crap.
"Wow, Jill. This book was really good. Who was it by again?"

"By Tamora Pierce."

"OHMYGOD. Didn't I read a fanfic about Alanna killing Saphira before?"

"You did! I LOVED that. I wish it would happen."

"Yeah, Eragon sucks."

"I know. Pierce is so much better."

"Oh shiz, is that a randomly-placed H-bomb zooming at us?"

"HOLY---"

Takora

Takora will almost always have a hard time opening up to others because she’s been hurt before, she gets attached too easily without even realizing it. She will always look out for friends and family in the face of adversity because she knows what it feels like to feel alone or betrayed. She has a very bad attitude but if you are patient with her she’ll eventually grow out of it.
Wait so did you hear about Takora’s new boyfriend?”

tantra

Tantra is not well understood in the western world, but is a key to healthy living and awareness that can transform you into the person you were meant to be.
The Sanskrit word Tantra is related to the concept of weaving and expansion- it derives from 'tan', meaning to expand, spin out, and weave. We weave the strands of our nature into a unified whole. Tantra takes the approach that one should not only not reject the body and its desires, but actually embrace them on the road to enlightenment. Tantra shares the view that sexual itercourse canbe a sacrament and a means of spiritual transformation. Tantra is the transformatin of vital energy in all its permutations ultimately toward the goal of spiritual attundement and enlightenment. In this context sexual relations become sacred.
The common view by most western men regarding sex is that you become stimulated, erect and ejacualte all in a short time for the relief of tension and for pleasure sake. It is a narrow point of view and leaves a lot to be desired for the powerful erotic energy that has the power to heal and transform. In tantra, ejaculation control is cultivated and you go beyond sex into a new realm of awareness.

tanorexic

A pun that combines the disorder of anorexia with tanning. Is used to describe people, usually white women and teen girls, who are very tan/dark in skin tone. Tanorexics are more specifically women who purposely get tan by either sunbathing frequently or by a fake bake. It was suggested that, like anorexics, they have an addiction to tanning and won't stop no matter how dark they get. Hence, the term tanorexic.
Christina Aguilera was a full-blown tanorexic; Lindsay Lohan is borderline tanorexic.
