startle simulator

A subgenre of horror game that combines a walking simulator with sudden, jarring audiovisual shocks. Instead of building tension gradually, these games rely on abrupt loud noises and flashing images to elicit quick, visceral fright responses. This approach sacrifices narrative depth and atmosphere for cheap thrills, it is the lowest, cheapest and most abundant form found in horror because it takes little skill/effort.

- Did you hear about that new horror game "Back door horrors 9"? It looks like it's gonna be really scary.

- What? What are you talking about? That's obviously some startle simulator. The entire trailer is just popup images and boom sound effects. It's made for YouTubers to get meaningless screams out of them for clickbait.

Cellular Startle

The jump that occurs when you have your cell phone on vibrate, and someone calls it when it is close to your crotchal area. Usually accompanied by the humorous phrase "I'm vibrating". It is usually in your pocket when it says crotchal area, but see 'Texas Chili Bowl" for another kind of crotchal cellular jump experience

I was talking to my friend Mitch and I jumped out of my desk when my girlfriend called me, and gave me a cellular startle ....Actually it felt kinda' good.

ball startle

When you are startled by sudden movement or pressure very near your balls often causing a subsequent flinching and a reverse thrust of the pelvis. Sometimes accompanied with a gasp.

audio startle

When you forget you have your computer speakers on and one of those audio alerts (from spell checker,you've got mail,Weatherbug, etc) scares the crap out of you. Can also occur when computer is idle but the speakers are on if you have an Aquarium screen saver.(bubbling water)

I was already sitting on a poop knob when I received an audio startle that made me soil myself.

Shartles and James

Homemade wine coolers. Someone grabs some cheap box wine and mixes it with seven-up and puts it in a sippy-cup. People drinking Shartles and James can be found in the summer time at free movies in the park.

That lady over there has no idea where her kid is, she's all hammered on her homemade Shartles and James and flirting with her girlfriend's husband. Nice spray tan.

Startkeylogger

DCC SEND STARTKEYLOGGER 0 0 0 is a way to make half of the people in an irc channel disconnect. This originated when a virus used the phrase to start the key logger it came with. If you had Norton internet security, it would terminate the connection. Some older routers also crash when receiving a malformed DCC request, which DCC SEND STARTKEYLOGGER 0 0 0 is.

Starter cap

It is a brand of baseball caps referenced in the Eminem songs "Stan" and "Killshot" which he uses in "Killshot" to indirectly call MGK a stan.

I like wearing Starter caps.
