Rumination

In psychology, rumination is when you can't take your mind off of something, often a bitter or negative experience you had in the past, and it still continues to bother you. You try to combat these intrusive thoughts, but they keep coming back no matter how hard you try to push them out. Rumination can be anywhere from a few minutes to an entire hour.

This is often due to a lack of resolution/rectification towards the bitter experience, especially if you failed to take control of the situation.

Rumination can also be about future events or goals, especially a harmful, unhealthy and unrealistic goal that you want to pursue.

The more you ruminate, the deeper the hole you're digging for yourself. It is better to stop ruminating early, or else you might end up in a very unhealthy state, both mentally and physically.

Peter had plans to assemble his Ikea furniture today, but during the assembly his mind wandered off and he started to ruminate about his ex and how she "borrowed" his money but never returned it back, and afterwards broke up with him. He had all these malicious thoughts inside his head and wanted to execute them all, but couldn't get himself to for the sake of his sanity. Peter's rumination costed him an hour's worth of time.

jock strap respiration

The act of after a physical sporting event (football, lacrosse, etc.) taking your protective cup out of its jock strap and creeping up behind an unsuspecting teammate and placing it forcefully over their nasal passages and mouth. Immediatly after doing so, the victim is tackled to the ground and the cup will be held on for as long as possible until the victim fights himself off from the grapple.

Post attack, the victim is especially angry and considered extremely dangerous. Keep distance and seek shelter.

Maximum effect achieved on a hot, humid day after a long practice, in which the cup will reek of a putrid smell and be oddly moist.

Shortly called "JSR" or more commonly "The Cupface."

The Great Resignation

The Great Resignation is a phenomenon that describes record numbers of people leaving their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, often with no prospects lined up.

Associated with the trend is the anti-work movement (created in 2013) and the associated subreddit r/antiwork. Both experienced a boom in members and activity with the increase of job resignations over the course of the pandemic.

Sunday scaries again… My job pays shit and almost all my coworkers have COVID. Despite all these bills to pay, I have serious resignation ideation. I’m not alone though; everyone around me is quitting their jobs en masse due to The Great Resignation.

Fuck it! Tomorrow I’ll finally write "I Quit" on my nut sack in magic marker and show em to my boss. Give him the ole’ testicular resignation.

resinator

A chamber found usually in metal pipes which can hold some marijuana, which collects resin when you smoke out of the pipe, the longer you wait the more potent the weed is thats left in the chamber, usually takes a few days if not a week really depends on how much you smoke out of the resinated pipe.
