An insanity that usually affects people of small stature. People with napoleonic complex are easily intimidated by tall, muscular people. To make themselves feel 'bigger', they in turn pick on taller, muscular people.

Angie, who was 6 feet tall at the age of 12, was frequently made fun of by pretty much everyone under the height of 4'11''. to make the most of the situation, she informed the shorties that their anger wasn't their fault, they were simply victims of the Napoleonic Complex.

A term based in prejudice and discrimination, that has been proven by science and psychology to be a myth and a stereotype as tall men are as likely to exhibit many, if not all, of the same traits. The name is also a misnomer because Napoleon was actually of average to above average height for his time.

The measure of psychological driven overcompensation for weakness in key areas, used traditionally as tongue-in-cheek reference to small statue or laughable genital areas as fuel for Napoleon's war lust. Currently applies to overly defensive men who treat women in the workplace in a sexist manner because they fantasize about a non-coed existence telling themselves technology is a male dominated industry thus excusable behavior. Applies to most devops professionals who bring beer instead of talent and usually wear feminist t-shirts for irony and gaslighting while namedropping and mansplaining just about everything.

the napoleonic disorder might have connections dating back to the infamous "three-meter island" nuclear meltdown that nearly wiped out every hobbit in the shire. before the cataclysmic explosion the shire looked like a demilitarized zone in detroit in the 1980's. the hobbit population wasndropping at an alarming rate until the nuclear power plant meltdown that changed the landscape from ghetto to garden. and it ultimately caused an huge population spike that unmistakably saved the hobbit from extinction. of course no one could have known that the tallest hobbit to ever live since the nuclear fallout has been the ex-adult film star willow. since his public execution over 67% of all male hobbits have some symptoms of the napoleonic nature that warped and twisted every hobbit since then to be quite ornery and most are born dangerously close to near-autistic levels.
this mutation can distort the hobbits frontal lobe, which curiously lies in their ample posterior. most hobbits afflicted by this will actually believe that he is in fact FOUR FEET tall and relevant. symptoms are exponentially compounded by the imbibing of ale and lager the smoking of pipe weed is the only known cure as it stabilizes the serotonin levels in the brain.
