It’s pretty much as common as misogyny. People that claimed to be feminists aren’t actually feminists and are misandrists themselves. Examples of misandry are infant circumcision, accusing men of rape, accusing men of being sexually creepy, women more able to get away with sexual assault, women raping or abusing men, and women hating on men based on stereotypes.
Me: Some bitch that looked like Princess Daisy accused me of following her to her home while I was just walking to my dorm. She threatened me just for being a man. I wasn’t following her at all.
Friend: Wow, that is unacceptable. You got to report that to the dean.
Me: I will. This is misandry for real.

A word cisgender heterosexual men utter the instant they are confronted about their misogyny; a term used by men to derail conversations about equal rights and the subjugation of women under the patriarchal system created by men.
Femi: Women are inferior to men and should remain in the bedroom and kitchen where they can be of use to society. Men are superior because we have penises. Haha, dark humour.
Aisha: Hey, don't say that.
Femi: Can't you take a joke, you bitch?
Aisha: Actually, I can, but that's the thing: it has to be a real, funny joke, not some remark that has its roots in misogyny. Your words contribute to systematic oppression, you misogynistic prick.
